Based on her experience as an Arabic novelist, Iman Humaydan will talk about the relation between memory and writing in Lebanon today. In a country where reconciliation and speaking the truth about war atrocities have been difficult issues to tackle, artistic production such as novelistic writing play a major role in exposing the unsaid through memory work.
