Cory Jorgensen
Education: BM in Music, Utah State University. MA in Classics, UT Austin.
Research Interests: Arabic Language, Culture and Literature, Greek Culture and Literature.

Personal Description: Cory received his Bachelor’s degree in Music from Utah State University, located in his native town of Logan, Utah. Thereafter, he moved to Texas to complete a Master’s Degree in Classics. He is currently working toward a PhD in Arabic using his knowledge of Greek to study the influence of Greek culture and literature on Arabic. Cory lives in Austin with his wife and two children, ages 9 and 2.
Summer Loomis
Education: BA in Political Science with French minor, Oberlin College. Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults, Capital Language Academy, Wellington, New Zealand. MA in Foreign Language Pedagogy with a focus on Arabic, University of Washington, Seattle.
Research Interests: Language assessment and program evaluation, Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language and language ideology.

Personal Description: Summer is currently working towards her PhD in Arabic and plans to focus on the assessment of oral language and advanced Arabic learners. She loves to cook and eat, and enjoys living in Austin with her husband.
