AFP Recruitment Announcement | Fall 2011
The UT Arabic Flagship Program is accepting applications for Fall 2011 with a submission deadline of Monday, August 1st. The AFP provides training in Arabic language and cultures at the undergraduate level. AFP students are given the opportunity to reach Superior level proficiency in Arabic while pursuing the undergraduate major of their choice. Visit the Apply page to download the application.
BENEFITS
AFP scholars enjoy a number of special benefits during their tenure with the program, including weekly mentoring sessions, internships, special career opportunities, and limited funding for summer and overseas study. AFP scholars may apply to study abroad in Flagship-exclusive summer and year-long programs designed to further advance students’ linguistic and cultural proficiency.
HOW TO APPLY
You can download the AFP Application Form from our website. Along with your hard copy application, you will also need provide your current UT transcripts and one teacher recommendation letter, which should be submitted to Helena Schneider at the AFP Office in WMB 1.110. You may also leave clearly marked applications at the DMES 6th floor reception desk.
